Patches is a 6-year-old Greyhound who has been waiting for a new home for almost a year. He was among 15 other Greyhounds rescued off an allotment in poor conditions the North East – he is a loveable, gentle lad and an avid football fan – not only does he wear the shirt of the Toon being white and black – he loves to play football. Which leads us to wonder, will the start of the season be his time to find a new home?

Patches is a fantastic boy who will make someone a brilliant companion. He has had a tough start in life but despite that, he’s very laid back. Patches is good with other dogs and loves people and other dogs, he would be happy living with other dogs and children of any age. People can find out more about Patches by visiting his page on DogsBlog.com or by visiting the event this weekend at: The Moorlands Kennels, Station Road, Condover, Nr Shrewsbury, SY5 7BS.
